Do I Qualify?

What it takes to qualify for TRICARE coverage

The majority of our patients meet the criteria. If you’re unsure, we’ll walk you through it at no cost.

1

You have a depression diagnosis

A licensed provider has diagnosed you with major depressive disorder. This includes diagnoses made by your primary care physician, psychiatrist, or another qualified mental health professional.

2

Previous treatment hasn’t been enough

You’ve previously been prescribed at least one antidepressant that either didn’t help or caused side effects that made it impossible to continue. TRICARE requires this prior treatment history for TMS coverage

3

You have TRICARE insurance

Your TRICARE plan — Prime, Select, Reserve Select, or another option through Humana Military’s TRICARE East Region— is active.

Still uncertain? Skip the guesswork. Our New Patient Coordinator will personally review your plan, confirm your eligibility, and give you a straight answer on coverage, for free. → Request a benefits check

★ U.S. Air Force Veteran Physician

Treatment guided by a neurologist who has served and knows the path you’ve walked

Dr. Spencer Miller spent five years as a physician in the U.S. Air Force, caring for active-duty service members with some of the most challenging neurological conditions in military medicine — TBI, PTSD, and treatment-resistant depression among them. That experience inside the military healthcare system shapes how he leads our civilian practice today.

Dr. Miller serves as Medical Director across our Plano, Dallas, and Fort Worth clinics and personally reviews every TMS treatment protocol. That means your care is directed by a board-certified neurologist.

  • Board-certified neurologist—physician-directed care
  • 5 years as a U.S. Air Force physician treating service members
  • Specialist in TMS, MeRT®, TBI, PTSD, and treatment-resistant depression
  • Medical Director, Brain Treatment Centers Plano, Dallas & Fort Worth

The Treatment Process

Your treatment, from first call to final session

Here’s what you can expect at every stage — no surprises, no guesswork.

Benefits verification

Before scheduling anything, we verify your TRICARE benefits. You’ll know what’s covered, what isn’t, and what to expect upfront.

Neurological evaluation

A short, non-invasive brain activity assessment combined with a clinical evaluation helps Dr. Miller shape a treatment plan specific to you.

TMS treatment sessions

Each session takes under 30 minutes. You’ll remain seated and awake while a trained technician delivers the treatment. No anesthesia, no medication, and you can drive yourself home afterward.

Ongoing monitoring

We track your response week to week and adjust your protocol based on your progress. Treatment evolves with you; it isn’t locked in once and left alone.

Coming to Plano for treatment? Sessions are scheduled in close succession, so you’ll want to stay near the clinic throughout the treatment period. For out-of-town patients, our lodging guide lists nearby recommended accommodations.

Veteran & Military Voices

Real experiences from veterans and service members who completed treatment with us

Being diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and anxiety by the VA, the calm and welcoming environment is important. The treatment makes me sleep longer and deeper than before. My “dark feelings” fade away. I feel happy and calm.

S.K.

I am a vet who got blown up a couple of times and suffers from TBI and PTSD. These sessions have turned my life around. My wife notices the positive changes in my depression, anxiety, and irritability, and says I am fun to be around again.

C.B.

Within 4 days of being treated, I was sleeping through the night. My anger subsided significantly, and I was smiling and enjoying things again. I could focus and concentrate; my chronic headaches and tinnitus ceased, and my balance returned.
